Out Side Working Inmates

The Terry County Sheriff's Office has started an out side inmate working program. The program is offered to inmates who have been convicted to county jail time on minor offenses.

Part of the program will include shredding. They will help shred the side of county roads, parks and around cemeteries.

Working outside will allow the inmate to reduce the jail sentence they have been given.

An armed deputy will be escorting the working inmate when they are out side of the jail working.

Working inmates can not be used on privately owned property.

They will be wearing a shirt that says "working inmate" The orange tractor shows "SHERIFF" on the side of it.

If you have any questions feel free to contact the sheriffs office about the program.
